Not Ashamed (Week 29) Romans 12:1-8 “Living Sacrifices”
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present
your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true
worship.” Romans 12:1
The first eight chapters of Romans deal with doctrine. We are saved by grace, through faith in
Jesus Christ, and that not of ourselves. It is the gift of God lest any man should boast. (Ephesians
2:8 roughly translated). We learn from those first eight chapters that all who are “in Christ” are secure
and have been forever and completely delivered from God’s wrath.
“Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus,”
