The Word Became Flesh (Week 28) John 10:1-10 “I AM The Door”
Throughout the Scriptures, the people of God are often characterized as sheep, and those who
lead them, both politically and spiritually, are referred to as shepherds. I personally understand this
comparison, for I have a small sheep farm myself. And I can tell you first hand, that sheep are not the
toughest of creatures. They need quite a bit of tending. They can be stubborn, as well as, foolish. They
tend to “live in the moment”, their only concern being the next bite of grass that they can feast upon.
