When the Apostle Paul wrote these words to the church at Corinth, I cannot help but wonder if he
had the story of Jesus restoring sight to the blind beggar in mind. And yes, before anyone says it, I am
aware that the books of 1 and 2 Corinthians predate the writing of John’s Gospel. However, I am also
fairly sure the story had been told many times over before The Gospel of John was formally introduced.
